STORE POLICIES

It is the customer's responsibility to be in compliance with all federal, state and local laws in regards to the product(s) purchased from Shield Group AMT. 

Please be mindful of your junk mail settings. Communication (order confirmation, tracking) from us generally comes by automated email (noreply@shieldgroupamt.com).

Please DO NOT use an alias, anonymous email, or dead phone number when ordering from us. Orders received under these conditions will be logged as fraud, and card refunded. If you make a mistake when giving us your contact information, please use the customer contact form on the Shield Group AMT website so we can correct it.

SHIPPING AND ORDER FULFILLMENT

All orders are shipped promptly from local inventory, distribution, or the manufacture within 2 - 10 business days M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MT (excluding observed holidays) using UPS, FedEx, or USPS.  We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.  Expedited shipping is available for an extra fee. (please contact us) 

Standard ground shipping which is applied to general merchandise and ammunition purchased through our online platform is uninsured and does not require a signature for delivery.  Items can be delivered to an unattended delivery address at the descretion of the delivery service.  Shield Group AMT is not liable for missing or undelivered products.  Signature service and insurance is available for an extra fee, and is required for optics over $100.00. 

PRODUCTS REQUIRING TRANS-SHIPMENT

If your order cannot be shipped directly to the delivery address from our warehouse, distribution, or manufacturer and is required to be trans-shipped through our Garden City, Idaho brick and mortar location, the buyer will be responsible for any added shipping fees incurred.  The following products require trans-shipment through our Garden City, Idaho location for liability reasons:

All NFA products. 

All barrels less than 16" inches in length.

All products being shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.  

MANUFACTURERS WITH RESTRICTED SHIPPING RULES

Some manufacturers prohibit direct shipping from our warehouse.  If your order cannot be shipped directly to the delivery address from our warehouse, distribution, or manufacturer and is required to be trans-shipped through our Garden City, Idaho brick and mortar location, the buyer will be responsible for any added shipping fees incurred.  The following manufacturers have shipping restrictions, and added shipping fees may apply, depending on where the order is sourced.

CANCELLATION POLICY

At Shield Group AMT, we expect that there might be mistakes made during ordering.  It is our goal to always meet the needs of the customer, and we WILL ALWAYS attempt to find a NO COST solution to an ordering error.  If a total and complete cancellation of the order is desired, please notify us as soon as possible.  Once a shipping label has been generated, a 10% Cancellation Fee on the order total will be assessed.

CREDIT / DEBIT CARD CHARGEBACKS

Credit / Debit card chargebacks received after the order has been delivered will be sent to Collections and subject to the following fees: 

Chargeback Fee: $25.00

Admin Fee: $50.00

Collection Fee: Customer will be responsible for recovery costs and attorney fees. Our collection agent,

Midwest Fidelity Services currently charges 35% of Invoice Amount.  

Credit / Debit card chargebacks received after the order has been shipped will be subject to the following fees: 

Chargeback Fee: $25.00

Shipment intercept Fee: $25.00

Restocking Charge: 10% of invoice amount.  

Admin Fee: $50.00

Collection Fee: Customer will be responsible for recovery costs and attorney fees. Our collection agent,

Midwest Fidelity Services currently charges 35% of Invoice Amount.

Credit / Debit card chargebacks received after a refund to the customer has been initiated will be subject to the following fees: 

Chargeback Fee: $25.00

Admin Fee: $50.00

Midwest Fidelity Services currently charges 35% of Invoice Amount.

Credit / Debit card chargebacks received on restocking charges will be subject to the following fees:

RESTRICTED STATE SALES

We do not charge for simple order modifications, such as magazine or flash hider removal.  

If your order cannot be shipped directly to the delivery address from our warehouse, distribution, or manufacturer and is required to be trans-shipped through our Restricted State Compliance office, the buyer will be responsible for any added shipping fees incurred.  

Residents of Restricted States are responsible for determining whether or not a product is legal in their state of residency.

Please email any documentation that is needed by us to legally ship your order if required. e.g. FOID, CCW, to admin@shieldgroupamt.com.

PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE

It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We will contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.

AMMUNITION PURCHASES

You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.

RETURNS

If you are not satisfied with your Non-Firearm purchase, please contact us within 15 business days of purchase.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RETURN PACKAGES TO THE ADDRESS ON THE BOX. 

WITHOUT AN RMA, (Return Authorization) WE WILL BE UNABLE TO VERIFY YOUR RETURN AND ISSUE A REPLACEMENT OR REFUND.

Please keep items in "Like New" condition in order to avoid a 10% restocking charge.  Items which have been used and/or installed cannot be returned for a refund.  Defective items fall under the manufacture's warranty, and must be returned to the company of manufacture for repair or replacement.  We will gladly assist you in any way we can.  

NOTE: If desired, Shield Group AMT can arrange a return pickup via UPS.  If you decide to ship your return yourself, we recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to use a carrier that offers to track and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.  We do not accept returns delivered by the United States Postal Service. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.  

Sales on the following items are final:

Special orders.

Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.

NFA items.  Shield Group AMT is unable to process cancellations, returns or refunds for silencers or any NFA item once the order is placed. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Illumination devices, electronic sights and optics.

Ammunition.

FIREARM RETURNS

Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly before proceeding with your transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you it is considered used, even if it is unfired. TRANSFERRED FIREARMS CANNOT BE RETURNED. Shield Group AMT cannot provide a  refund for firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. Also, we do not reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. In some instances manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection. However, upon discovering a defect after the transfer, it is best to return the firearm directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees of returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. We can certainty assist you through this process. Shield Group AMT will accept returns on firearms that have not been transferred.  However, a 20% restocking fee plus return shipping will apply. In some cases a gift card/store credit will be issued for the refund. Refunds or store credits are not issued on item(s) until they are returned and inspected.

  

USED FIREARMS

Used firearms may not be returned. All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) are provided by the seller.

GENERAL FIREARM SALES

All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. 

All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between a Web site and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Website and the browser remains private and secure.

ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS

Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order due to a description error, a full refund will be issued to the card used at checkout.
